Windows Firewall is a great tool, but sometimes you may find that it’s blocking a particular program from working.
There’s an easy fix. Head to the Control Panel, and then click on the Windows Firewall icon. Then on the top left-hand corner of the screen, you should see an option to “Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall”.
Just follow the prompts to exempt your particular program, and then save the settings. That program should now work properly.
