Many businesses are now using Skype to make cheap phone calls and communicate even within their own offices.
But many aren’t aware there are a range of tips and tricks they can use to make their Skype experience ever better:
- Use a headset with a built-in microphone. This will improve your sound quality and make it easier for other people to hear you.
- Skype actually has a speed-dial feature. Just enter their Skype name in the upper text box and press enter.
- You can also send contacts by pressing “Send Contacts” from the Contacts menu. Click a person and then choose “Add to Send List”.
- You should set up Skype voicemail if you’re away from your computer. Go to “Preferences” under the Skype menu, and then click the “Calls” button. Then, tick the “send unanswered calls to Skype Voicemail” box.
