It’s important to keep your computer running fast as much as possible. One way to accomplish this is with a disk defragmentation.
To do this on a Windows machine, open up the Start Menu, then All Programs, Accessories, and then System Tools. You’ll then want to choose the Disk Defragmenter option.
In the box that pops up, choose the drive that you want to defrag, then hit analyse disk. Once it’s been analysed, click on the defrag button.
You’ll want to make sure you regularly defrag your disk. Use the scheduler in the pop up box to make sure these happen regularly – perhaps when you are least using your computer, such as very early in the morning.
