Are you selling online? If so, you need to develop a mobile eCommerce strategy. New figures show millions of customers are browsing and shopping on mobiles, and you need to be prepared to offer them something.
If you have an online store, consider developing a mobile site. This will ensure users stick around while browsing on a mobile, instead of becoming frustrated that your site won’t load. With mobile sites becoming so popular, developing a basic offering isn’t totally out of your reach.
PayPal senior director of merchant services Bill Zielke recently said on Mashable that the company’s mobile transactions are showing “dramatic growth”, from $US25 million in 2008 to $US141 million in 2009.
Develop a mobile strategy alongside your website. Make sure your mobile customers have a unique experience, or they simply won’t come back.
