It’s one of the best desktop services you can use to keep in touch with people – and it’s also one of the best iPhone apps you can download.
The Skype app has been out for a while now but a lot of people still don’t have it. This is essentially just an iOS version of the desktop system. You can make calls to other Skype users and to phones if you have Skype credit.
And with the front facing camera on the iPhone, you can make video calls to other Skype users as well, (although you need an iPhone 4 for this).
If you have Skype on desktop, there isn’t any reason not to have it on your phone. It’s available on the App Store for free.
