How to post from WordPress to Twitter

If you have a WordPress blog on your site you probably want to be publishing to social networks automatically, and Twitter is one of the best ways to get your posts out and about.

But if you’re posting to Twitter, you’ll want to automatically set up the system so that your posts are published straight away. To do so, you’ll need to login to WordPress and download a plugin called WP to Twitter.

Firstly, you need to find the plugin and download it through the internal plugin search function. Once it’s activated, you’ll need to go to the settings folder and then update a few details:

• Activate the app through WordPress. Instructions will be given to you within the app itself.
• You will need to connect to Twitter with your account – instructions will be given for this as well.
• Go through the settings and configure what you want each post to say, and how you want each link to appear.

After that, your posts should start appearing on Twitter automatically after you publish, saving you plenty of hassle.
