The personal hotspot feature was one of the best updates to the iPhone this year. It’s allowed quite a number of users to spread their internet connection to other gadgets without much of a fuss.
But it’s important to know you can change the password on your iPhone – you don’t have to rely on the one Apple gives you.
To update the password, go to the Settings app. Then, at the top of the screen, you need to select the “Personal Hotspot” menu item.
In the menu, you will see a menu item called “Wi-Fi Password”. Click on that. In that menu, you will be able to change your Wi-Fi password.
Be aware that your password will need to have at least eight characters. Be sure to change your password regularly.
