Are you using Google Analytics? If not you should be – it’s one of the best tools available for tracking traffic coming to your site and your best sources for visitors.
But there’s actually a nifty way to find out which keywords are bringing the most visitors to your site.
First you need to select the date range in Google Analytics – you can pick a particular day or a range of days.
Then, select “all reports”, then “marketing optimisation”, “marketing campaign results” and then “source conversion”.
After that you can select “cross segment performance”, and then “keyword”.
There you should be able to see a nice little chart of your best keywords and the amount of traffic they attract – it’s good data to access if you need to amend your strategy.
