The best part about using an iOS device is the ability to download as many apps as you would like. And the thriving ecosystem means these apps are continually updated.
But while you might choose to download app updates through iTunes on your computer, you can actually download them straight to the phone itself.
To do so, open the App Store icon. Then, select the “Updates” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. There, you can select individual updates to install at the top of the screen.
Your phone will ensure you know how many updates to install by showing you a red icon on the App Store button on the homescreen.
