Wikipedia is an invaluable resource for many people, especially if you need to get up-to-date on a particular topic very quickly. But did you know there’s a way to export Wiki files into PDFs?
If you want to convert a file, look up the Wiki page that you want to convert – it doesn’t matter what browser you’re using as this is a Wiki tool, not a tool inside your software.
On the left hand side of the screen, you should see a link that says “Print/Export”. Click this, and you’ll see some options – you’ll want to click on “Download as PDF”.
Wikipedia will direct you to another page soon after that where you are able to right-click on a link and then download the article to your computer – complete as a PDF file.
This feature can be especially useful if you need to get your staff up to speed on a particular subject very quickly. You can also share these in Dropbox to make sure it gets around even quicker.
