It seems most entrepreneurs now have a Gmail account, whether it’s to help organise their start-up or just for personal use.
And while Gmail is one of the most secure email solutions around, Google is quick to remind users that using a two-step authentication procedure goes a long way in protecting your account from thieves.
To introduce two-step authentication, visit this page. Under the security banner, click on “using two-step verification”.
The site will ask you to log in to your Google account, and the procedure will start. You’ll need to receive a text message in order to proceed, and the whole process Google says takes about a quarter of an hour.
