Last night I was fortunate enough to attend the StartupSmart Awards (in disguise of course) and met some of Australia’s most inspiring start-up leaders.

As always, what strikes me about being in a room full of entrepreneurs is that Australia has a great tradition of producing mature, smart and switched-on business owners.

Traditional industry models might be falling apart right now – as anyone in retail, property and publishing can attest – but these guys are ready to swoop in and seize new opportunities.
