Sir Richard Branson has predicted 2014 will be the year of the entrepreneur.
He wrote in a post on LinkedIn that there has been a surge of excitement surrounding start-ups, with many internet start-ups coming to fruition and big businesses going public.
“The entrepreneurs who will succeed in 2014 will need to focus upon having a purpose beyond profit for their business,” he wrote.
In this video, Professor Alan Brown, from Surry University, explores what the year of the entrepreneur could mean.
