California-based inventor Matty Sallin has devised an alarm clock that wakes you up to the smell of bacon.
Wake N’ Bacon turns on 10 minutes before you are due to wake up and slowly sizzles frozen slices of bacon beneath two halogen lights.
Its built-in fan then wafts the aroma of cooking bacon around the room to wake you gently.
It’s safe to say an alarm clock that can cook bacon is not to everyone’s taste, but it does suggest entrepreneurs have an opportunity to come up with other creative methods of getting people out of bed in the morning.
