Anyone who has owned a cat knows and dreads the scratching, tearing sound of their pet sharpening their claws on the couch or curtains.
It’s a hazard cat owners know comes with the territory of feline friendship.
Now, Dutch designers have created something that will hopefully give your cat something else to shred.
Called “Krabhuis”, which means “scratch house” in Dutch, this cute minimalist structure is made out of 48 layers of duofold cardboard. As well as a scratching post and saving your furniture, it’s also a place for your cat to sleep and climb.
Can you think of other new creations to distract your pets from house unfriendly habits?
