www.360finance.com.au is an online asset finance brokerage business.
“We offer finance for a range of assets, mainly for vehicles but also trucks, heavy equipment, caravans and marine,” Matt says.
“We identified that consumers were not necessarily getting the best rate or solution when sourcing asset finance through the traditional channels, such as their bank or the car dealer.”
The Burgess brothers saw there was a need for a solely online business to help consumers find the best finance solution for their circumstances.
It helps a huge range of businesses, from sole traders to large corporations, in addition to families, singles, students and pensioners, get the right car loan at the lowest rate possible.
According to Matt, the most challenging part of starting up the business was competing against established websites to gain branding and traction.
“We learnt that SEO is a process which takes lots of time and resources. Adwords is also a beast, which requires lots of testing to get the best ROI,” he says.
“We have since become quite knowledgeable about SEO and now take a very hands-on approach with our SEO partners.”
“As a business owner, you want to be able to focus on what you do well but up-skill yourself so you can keep SEO vendors accountable and get the most bang for your buck.”
So what has been the best part of starting the business?
“The validation that we had the right idea when starting out, and that we could remain profitable and still meet the expectations of our clients,” Matt says.
