Abundance Global
How it started
Dr David Dugan was an officer in the Royal Australian Navy when he was deployed to Indonesia following the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. When a helicopter he was supposed to be on crashed, he left the Navy with the goal to make a profound impact on the world.
He decided to take his leadership skills and apply them to coaching SMEs and entrepreneurs, founding Abundance Global.
Growth
With revenue of $1.95 million in the 2018-19 financial year, Abundance Global had a surge of growth to reach $3.3 million in 2020-21, and the company has now almost completed its specialised hybrid events centre, being built in West End, Brisbane.
Where to next?
Having purchased the two adjoining blocks at the new site, Abundance Global’s 10 year plan includes a potential expansion to “further service the community”.
In January 2020, the team visited the US to probe a potential expansion abroad, with southeast Asia and Europe on the radar to follow.
