This is an old saying but worth repeating as many times as it takes to remind you to keep on keeping on when you’re going through a crap-storm.
The big mistake most of us make is that we turn back when we are halfway through hell. The trick is to keep on going until you get to the other side.
If it’s terrible, then turning back means the ‘terrible’ was all for nought.
You have to shut your eyes tightly and keep making your way through whatever hell it is you are facing. The only solace is that nothing can stay terrible forever.
Once you’re through it I promise you’ll look back and know that you can pretty much survive anything.
You’ll also know this: the law of averages and mathematics means that you’re unlikely to go through hell (again) anytime soon. Better things are ahead and even in nature, rainbows follow thunderstorms.
