Facebook’s trendy new design has been met with hostility, after a group protesting the changes has hit one million members.

The “5,000,000 against the new version of Facebook” reached its one million user goal yesterday, in an attempt to stop the design from becoming the site’s default look.

Group creator Adam Stanborough told news.com.au the changes should have been verified and approved by users before being implemented into the site.
