Tech giant Apple has released a new Mac Mini alongside opening preorders for the new iPhone 4 in the US.
The new model features an HDMI port, which has caused some analysts to suggest the new model may be a precursor to an Apple TV update.
Apple has said the computers power consumption is less than 10 watts when idle, while the Mac itself features an SD slot as well. It also contains an integrated power supply.
Mac Mini users have begun to use the device as part of a home theatre system rather than a standalone computer. This, alongside the introduction of an HDMI port, comes after Engadget reported the company could be looking to update its Apple TV service soon with a new gadget.
