As a part time property investor, until now I have sat on the sidelines to see what will happen. It’s good to see a couple of view points on this.
My view is that once the grant is reduced, a whole lot of investors are going to start entering the market. The rental demand will hold up, or increase significantly, and I believe this to be a once in a generational opportunity to pick up housing at an affordable price.
I believe this will prevent a large fall in property prices and also provide housing to those who cannot afford to buy.
