Telstra has begun taking pre-orders for the HTC One XL 4G/LTE smartphone in Australia, with the first handsets to be shipped out to customers in June.
The HTC One XL is the flagship in the HTC One range of smartphones announced by the company at the Mobile World Conference back in March. In most regards, it is the same as the HTC One X, other than the added 4G/LTE capabilities.
According to Telstra, the Australian version runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.
The release comes after claims of poor battery performance of earlier HTC handsets, including the HTC Velocity 4G, which was the first handset released for Telstra’s 4G/LTE network in January.
