Australian fashion retailer Just Group today posted a 7.4% rise in profit for 2006-07, of $63.9 million before one-offs.
The company said that casual clothing including Just Jeans outperformed women’s wear and predicted a positive year ahead.
Just Group comprises more than 800 stores and six fashion brands including Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Jacqui E, Dotti and Peter Alexander.
Total revenue was up 9.6% to $767.3 million. Managing director Jason Murray described it as “a pleasing result with a strong second half, and well positioned for continued growth”.
