Different Solutions, which claims to be Australia’s largest experience design firm, has been placed in administration.
Sule Arnautovic and Trent Devine of Jirsch Sutherland were appointed as administrators of the Sydney-based company on February 3.
The company is believed to owe between $2 and $2.5 million to employees, trade creditors, the tax office and a bank.
A meeting of creditors will be held in the coming days.
According to its website, Different Solutions started in 2001 and has a team of 50 consultants that try to help top 500 companies design products that are attractive to users.
Clients include Foxtel, Toyota, AMP and Westpac.
“We’ve helped organisations build better websites, software, call centre processes, in-store layout and signage, financial products and printed materials,” its company website states.
Different Solutions’ main focus is user-centred design, which is design that aims to be intuitive and desirable to a product’s target market.
Despite the difficulties faced by the business, its website still says it has six job opportunities, including senior experience architect, visual designer, senior project manager and business development manager.
