Remember spokey-dokeys? Well, if you thought they were cool, check out Hokey Spokes – spokey-dokeys for the 21st century.
According to coolhunter.com.au, Hokey Spokes are plastic clip ons for your wheel spokes filled with multi-coloured bright LED lights. Put a few on each wheel, turn them on, and then when you start riding your wheels put on their own little laser light show.
Hokey Spokes come in all colours and can even be tailored to display an image or text. And aside from the obvious coolness advantages, they also make bike riders more visible at night, improving safety.
The only downside – at $29.95 each, Hokey Spokes are a fair bit more expensive than their old style counterparts. They also require three AA batteries each to run.
