Tech giant Apple will open its seventh Australian retail store this Friday, May 28, on Bondi Junction’s Oxford Street.
The launch will coincide with the local release of the iPad tablet computer, with analysts expecting fans across the country to line up for hours to get their hands on the company’s latest tech.
While the gadget has already been released in the United States, several delays due to “unexpected demand” have pushed the launch date back several weeks.
The company said in a statement the Bondi Junction store will contain all the usual features of other locations, including the Genius Bar tech support centre, workshops and programs.
Apple’s other retail stores are located in Sydney and Chatswood in NSW, Chermside and Robina in QLD and Chadstone and Doncaster in VIC.
