Over 73% of Android users are men, according to the latest statistics from analytics form AdMob.
The company’s latest Mobile Metrics report reveals a number of fascinating trends for smartphones, including the fact 65% of iPod Touch users are under 17, and free apps across all smartphone labels outsell paid apps be almost 10 to one.
Owners of the iPod Touch download 12 apps per month, 37% more than iPhone and Android users, and spend 25% more time playing with them than other platform users.
The report shows Android users are the least likely to pay for apps, with only 21% buying apps on a monthly basis compared to 50% for the iPhone.
