One of the trends to come out of the rise of smartphones has been the swapping of digital business cards. The ABBYY Business Card Reader app is designed to make this process as easy as possible.
The app allows users to take pictures of business cards, with the app then performing a scan to decipher text and other features.
The app boasts it can translate 16 languages, although it warns some typing corrections could be needed.
Other features include names being put into the iPhone’s address book automatically. But users should be warned, this $12.99 app only works with the iPhone 3GS.
