Apple has released a new version of its iTunes software that includes support for the upcoming release of the iPhone 3.0 operating system, fuelling rumours that the OS will be released next week at a company conference.
The company has not made any announcement about the update, but the software update has led tech analysts to believe that next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference will see the launch of iPhone 3.0.
The new software includes Bluetooth capability, copy and paste functions, a search option that can find all file types within the device and the ability to support ‘push’ email abilities found on devices like the BlackBerry.
The launch of the iPhone 3.0 OS is also expected to be announced along with new iPhone models.
