New technology, we’re regularly told, has brought the barriers to business entry crashing down, giving start-ups as big a chance of success as their larger, more established counterparts.

This is, of course, not entirely true. Technology can be complex and expensive, especially for start-ups with limited budgets.

 

However, as our writer Mahesh Sharma reveals today, once you cut through the hyperbole of ‘working in the cloud’, there are plenty of options to help smart start-ups build their businesses more cheaply and efficiently.
