A British man has been arrested by police and suspended from work after he posted a Twitter message saying he would blow up an airport.
Paul Chambers was frustrated by the snow delaying his flight at Robin Hood airport in England, so he wrote a message on Twitter threatening to blow it up.
“Robin Hood airport is closed,” he reportedly said. “You’ve got a week and a bit to get your shit together, otherwise I’m blowing the airport sky high!!”
Chambers has been suspended from his job, with his iPhone, laptop and personal computers all suspended by police. He was questioned for several hours, and has been bailed until February 11.
But the snow won’t bother him any more – he’s been banned from the airport for life.
