The Australian sharemarket slipped today, after the Dow Jones lost 0.2%, despite Asian markets posting solid gains.
At 3pm today, ASX200 had given up 0.25% to 4126.6, while the broader All Ordinaries index backtracked 0.31% to 4171.0.
The dollar was steady, buying $US1.01.
The slight fall follows on from the market’s solid gain yesterday, when shares soared 2% as the Greek election results saw off fears of a default.
