Movie studio Screentime has secured the film rights to Fairfax journalist Adele Ferguson’s 2012 unauthorised biography of Gina Rinehart.
The notoriously private Rinehart, Australia’s richest person, is to have her life portrayed in a six-hour miniseries based on the best-selling biography.
Screentime’s previous hit shows include five seasons of Underbelly, which was based on books about Australia’s criminal underworld written by two Age journalists, John Silvester and Andrew Rule.
