Immelt, who is in Australia, says his company hopes for a big uplift in business from the liquified natural gas projects here, and is also introducing an online maintenance of plants. It has secured a US620 million contract with BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG plant in Gladstone, and announced another $US1.6 billion in local projects last year.
