Whenever you install iTunes on a Mac or Windows, the iTunes Library is set up in a default spot, and whenever you download music or media it is always put in that one place.
However, you may want to move your iTunes folder for whatever reason, or even want to keep the library in your DropBox to sync across a number of different devices.
To change the location of your iTunes library folder, you need to open iTunes, and then “Edit”, and then “preferences”.
Once you’ve done that, click on “Advanced”. At the top of the pop up screen, select “change” next to the option that says “iTunes Media Folder Location”.
Once you’ve done that, iTunes will use that location as the default folder.
