Best of both worlds with Underabove Camera

Business start-up - Underabove CameraThey say a picture is worth a thousand words, so how much would a picture be worth if it could capture images above and below water at the same time?

The Underabove Camera is a dual-lens floating camera that can take pictures both underwater and above the water simultaneously.

The clever design incorporates air in the top half of the body and water in the lower half to help it stay afloat. An LCD screen gives users a quick preview of the shots taken, and a timer facilitates self-portraits as well.

The symmetrical camera body is made with polypropylene, which has a lighter weight than seawater and floats easily. All in all, it’s the perfect product to introduce to tourists and photography enthusiasts.

The Underabove Camera was designed in America by Kyung Han, but there’s certainly an opportunity to develop a similar product here, or even to sell the product under license.

The concept would be snapped up in no time by tourist shops and tour companies, particularly in areas noted for underwater wonders such as the Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo Reef.
