Qantas flight cancellations are expected to continue this week despite a meeting planned between unions and management on Wednesday.
A Qantas spokeswoman told SmartCompany that 15 flights would be cancelled today from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Meanwhile 27 are expected to be cancelled tomorrow with cancellations expected all of this week.
Although no strike action is planned for this week, the cancellations are a result of a flow-on from strikes by engineers seeking a 5% pay rise. Qantas is adamant it will not concede more than 3%.
