Harvey Norman’s new stationery chain, Ofis, has opened its first Sydney superstore on the company-owned site on Parramatta Rd in Auburn.
The 1500sqm store is split into four segments; print shop, stationery, IT and office furniture. There are 7500 stationery products and 2500 IT products on offer, with an online store to be available in a couple of months.
Ofis GM, Paul English, said customer demand had been strong over the opening few days of Sydney trading, and for the first Ofis store in Albury on the NSW/Victorian border, which opened over Easter.
Another store will open in Maitland (NSW) in June, followed by one in Cambridge Park just outside of Hobart a month later.
The company is planning to open at least eight stores this year, and then 10 a year after that.
