The NBN Co has released a list of 419 towns and suburbs set to receive the national broadband network by June 2016, representing a total of 1.913 million homes and business premises.
The total includes all technologies in the NBN’s multi technology mix except for HFC (hybrid fibre-cable) and long-term satellite services, but including fixed wireless, fibre-to-the-home and fibre-to-the-node.
In Sydney, businesses will get the NBN in Appin, Avalon Beach, Berowra, Blacktown, Campsie, Campbelltown, Homebush, Kellyville, Katoomba, Liverpool, Mulgoa, Blackheath, Elderslie, Narellan, The Oaks, Penrith, Richmond, Rouse Hill and Tahmoor.
In Melbourne, it will be rolled out to Ballan, Beaconsfield Upper, Craigieburn, Dromana, Footscray, Karingal, Keysborough, Kings Park, Kilmore, Melton, Mornington, Mount Eliza, Rye, Shoreham, Sunbury, Tooradin, Warburton, Werribee and Whittlesea
Brisbane businesses will receive the NBN in Acacia Ridge, Aspley, Bundamba, Bribie Island, Caboolture, Dayboro, Greenbank, Ipswich, Jimboomba, Petrie, Logan Village, Samford, Nudgee, Ningi, Redland Bay, Rosewood and Warner.
Perth suburbs set to benefit include Applecross, Armadale, Cannington, South Coogee, Doubleview, Kelmscott, Meadow Springs, Quinns Rocks, Rockingham, South Perth, Victoria Park.
Meanwhile in Adelaide the rollout will cover Aldinga, St Marys, Gawler, Gepps Cross, Lonsdale, Modbury and Reynella.
