Optus has confirmed that it will start to sell Apple’s iphone in Australia later this year. Optus has now joined Vodafone in securing an agreement to sell the much coverted phone that is internet enabled.
Unfortunately neither Optus nor Vodafone will confirm how much they will pay for the Apple iPhone or when the Apple iPhone will be released.
However the Optus statement says Optus, SingTel, Bharti Airtel and Glove would sell the iPhone in Australia, Singapore, India and the Phillipines. That leaves Telstra and Hutchison still to announce deals with Apple.
