Financial Times ranks Mt Eliza No. 1 executive education provider in Australia

An Australian business school has been ranked Australia’s number one provider of executive education for the fifth consecutive year. Mt Eliza Executive Education also ranked globally at number 40 in the prestigious Financial Timesrankings released today.

Mt Eliza is the executive education division of Melbourne Business School, which ranked in the FT’s global top 50 for MBA programs.

The centre is the only Australian provider in the FT top 40. In the Asia Pacific region, it performed second Chinese provider CEIBS, in 29th place.

In open enrolment programs, Mt Eliza ranked 31 globally, up two places. Customised programs ranked 46th, up five places from 2011.

In a statement, deputy dean of executive education, Professor Paul Dainty, said: “In both the private and public sectors, redundancies and budget cuts are forcing managers to do more with less.”

Swisse Vitamins CEO, Radek Sali, said of the program, “In the future, pioneering programs like those offered by Mt Eliza will become a prerequisite for leadership. Leaders will become self-aware and engaged in what is really important for business to succeed”.

The editor-in-chief of Australian Associated Press, Tony Gillies, a graduate of Mt Eliza’s advanced management program, said, ”The program has made me think more deeply than in the past about ways to keep people motivated and engaged so they can deliver on the company’s performance goals.”

Dr Michael Robertson of Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, said, “I have come away from Mt Eliza programs with some practical tools and insights that will change the way I approach everything at work (and home!).”
