Meet Australia’s hottest young entrepreneurs.
SmartCompany’s Hot 30 Under 30 class of 2013 is a group of entrepreneurs aged 30 and younger, drawn from 30 of Australia’s fastest-growing SMEs.
They’re on the path to becoming Australia’s next generation of top entrepreneurs.
The majority of those on the list have already turned over $1 million or more, showing that even at a young age they have already found success.
Some of the entrepreneurs on this year’s list are scarily young. There’s 17-year-old Nick D’Aloisio, who sold his app to Yahoo! for $30 million, and then 20-year-old Ash Davies, who has 40,000 subscribers to his online magazine.
Many have made their name in technology, but others come from a wide range of industries, from shoes to flat pack furniture, media to agriculture, and schooling to street fashion.
We look forward to hearing more from the class of 2013.
