Apple is set to unveil new MacBook laptops, a major overhaul of iOS and a new version of Mac OS X at the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference, but no new iPads or iPhones, according to a leading analyst
BGR reports KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts Apple will unveil new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops that will be powered by Intel’s latest Haswell processors.
“Contrary to our previous projection, we now think Apple will continue to make the MacBook Pro alongside the MacBook Air and Retina MacBook Pro because the 13-inch MacBook Pro remains the most popular product in the MacBook line,” Ming-Chi Kuo states.
“Also, there is still demand in emerging markets, where Internet penetration isn’t advanced, for optical disk drives.”
