Google has announced the launch of a trial same-day home delivery service in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area.
According to The Register, the new service will be named Google Shopping Express and will allow customers to order same-day deliveries from a number of leading local and national retailers, including Target, Walgreens, and Staples.
“We’re still working out our long-term pricing plan but early testers will get six months of free, unlimited same-day delivery.
“The pilot will expand as we work out the kinks,” said Google Shopping Express product management director Tom Fallows.
