SmartCompany‘s early-stage startup competition the Pitch has been giving great businesses the start they need for almost 18 months now.
We’re doing it again in Melbourne on November 30, but this time with a bit of a twist! For the first time, in addition to the grand prize of up to $100,000 in AWS credits and 12 months of mentoring courtesy of BlueRock, the crowd will choose a winner as well.
Event attendees will vote for their favourite finalist, who’ll take home tickets to the Australian Open as well as naming rights as the People’s Choice.
Entries are fast, free and closing soon. Enter here, or get more information here.

We’ve already awarded $315,000 in prize value to three amazing early-stage startups – Zipr, Diolog and nVest – and we can’t wait to do it again.
On November 30, guest judges at the Pitch include Rachel Yang of Giant Leap, Claire Bristow of Skalata Ventures, John Kearney of AWS and Mitch Hancock of BlueRock. No matter who wins, all shortlisted startups benefit from their feedback and experience.
