Telstra have launched a pocket-sized 4G LTE WiFi modem that allows up to five WiFi devices or computers to connect simultaneously to its 4G LTE network.
The news comes off the back of heavy criticism of Apple’s new iPad being incompatible with Telstra’s 4G LTE network.
While iPads will still not be able to connect directly to Telstra’s 4G LTE network, iPad owners (and owners of other WiFi mobile devices) will be able to connect to Telstra’s 4G LTE network via WiFi through the modem.
Telstra claim the modem has a battery life of four hours, or up to 100 hours of standby time.
