Music streaming service Spotify has finally released an application for use on any of RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones.
The launch comes six months after Spotify launched in the United States, after becoming immensely popular in Europe over the last few years.
However, Spotify has noted that only five BlackBerry models will be able to use the software – the Bold 9780, 9700, 9000 and the Curve 9300 and 8520.
The app had been in a preview format for some time but is now fully available
Spotify is still unavailable in Australia, although the company did recently hire a local director of sales.
