FootyTips co-founder Heath Kilgour struck gold recently when international sports broadcaster ESPN purchased the decade-old company.
Being a digital business, Kilgour is also a huge fan of technology, but says his favourite piece of tech isn’t necessarily attractive or flashy. It’s the display advertising service AdRoll, which he says allows him to target advertising effectively.
“Some of the behavioural re-targeting tools for advertising such as AdRoll are really interesting,” he says.
“It’s far from sexy, but it’s very effective and anyone running a web business should be looking into it.”
