Social networking giant Facebook is now in lock-down mode ahead of the announcement of new products and features, a new report from All Things Digital has claimed.
The report comes after reports suggested the company was developing a new mobile platform that would see new apps built for the iOS platform.
Developers have apparently spoken to the publication, informing them of the lockdown, with one developer on Quora saying it is to “refocus our efforts on shipping products”.
Last year’s lockdown resulted in the development of Facebook Places and Facebook Groups, and lasted for several weeks.
The lockdown comes although Facebook hasn’t announced the dates for this year’s F8 conference.
