Computer manufacturer HP is planning to develop a seven-inch tablet, new reports have suggested.
According to the Taiwan Economic News, a PC parts manufacturer has said the company is working on a new device, saying it has received orders for “big-ticket orders for tablet PCs from HP”.
The computer says the parts are for the TouchPad device, with both a 9.7-inch model and a seven-inch model as well.
So far HP has not announced a seven-inch version of its tablet, but the seven-inch format is becoming more popular among other manufacturers, including Research in Motion and Samsung.
